Dear All,

Due to Karnataka Bandh and  Cauvery water dispute there were unscheduled holidays in the near past. To compensate the same some of the companies are working on 17-09-2016. So we are operating one pickup and one drop in all the routes (including Volvo, Short Route & Shuttle service), if required you can use the BTP transportation service.

Limited availability of BMTC service due to disturbance accross the City

Subject: Limited availability of BMTC service due to disturbance accross the City

Dear All,

Due to protest and sporadic incidences of violence and property damage across the city reasoning Cauvery Water issue, BMTC service in some parts (Mysore road, Hosur road, Magadi road, Malleshwaram, KR Puram & some other areas) of the city is affected. We are not sure about availability of all the buses for logout. In view of road blockage and protest many buses are not able to start from their respective Depot. Accordingly we may not be able to provide Buses for all the trips. There will be one bus for each route at 1730hrs (No buses will be available before or after that).

Depending on the no. of buses that will report, we will try to operate at least one bus on each route.

Volvo buses & Normal buses will logout at 1730hrs.

Short route and Shuttle buses will operate as usual.

Please Note: Metro Train also not available if any employees depend on metro train request them to take BMTC service for today's drop.

Karnataka Bandh on 09.09.2016

Dear All,

An Important heads up.

In protests against the Cauvery Conflict  for drinking water, pro-Kannada and farmer associations have called for 'Karnataka Bandh on September 9th 2016.

During this period the public transport (BMTC and KSRTC Buses) will not be available for public commuters and this will also impact the service extended to all corporate companies / private company bus users.

For your kind information, Bagmane Transportation services of Volvo, Long route, short route and Metro feeder will not be available.

On account of Bakrid buses will run as usual.

Please inform your family and friends as KSRTC services will also be impacted during this strike period if they have plan of going outstation.

Note : To compensate, Please inform us when you are scheduling for work so that we can plan and arrange transport accordingly.

Dear All,

On account of Ganesha Chathurthi,  many companies at BTP have declared holiday on the 5^th of Sep 2016. In view, all the BTP BMTC routs will not be operational. We will be providing only one pickup in the morning and 1 drop in the evening ( at 1730hrs ).

Long Route & Short route:                              Only 1 pickup and one drop will be available.

Volvo:                                                                       Will not operating on 5^th of September 2016.

 Metro Feeder:                                            Will be available between 0800hrs to 1000hrs for Login and 1600hrs to 1830hrs for Logout.

Please find the route list attached here with for ready reference.

Please Note:    These changes will be effective only on 5^th of September 2016.

Dear All,

This is to keep you informed that, due to strike called by multiple trade unions on 02.09.2016, there are chances of BTP BMTC services getting disrupted. We are pushing BMTC authorities to somehow make the service available for tomorrow, about which they have responded in affirmation and assured to run the service unless any violence or untoward incidence is reported. We are constantly in touch with concerned authorities; accordingly, we will keep you posted about the latest as and when we get message from them.

Pl Note:                Anticipating mob protest, Short route and Shuttle will not be available for service tomorrow!
